Follow what the first poster said, and use cedar, they sell it for fence boards. It’s a bit more expensive but light and weatherproof, won’t need painting. They sell hardware to make gates with if you have no confidence in your carpentering–buy a gate kit and follow its instructions. Try Home Depot, they should have everything you need.

CUT YOUR WIDTH ONES AT 37″ AND YOUR HIGHT ONES AT 33″ cut a plow in the middle of them in the center about 1/4 in. wide and a 1/2 in. deep and buy some plastic latice work. and fit the latice work inside the plow as you put it together with screws put your hinges on and you got a great looking gate
