My patio door has been shot with a b-b gun, spider webbing the outside portion of the 2 pane glass. I need to replace just the sliding portion of the door unit, and I am not totally sure how to remove the sliding door and replace with new one. Where is it possible to buy just the sliding door and not the whole unit? Estimate?

An aluminum frame with out and for that you have the seam at the inside of the frame you might want to have to remove the panel carefully pull them out of glass make sure someone is on the outside then take thin putty knife and run it put the seam at the frame and run it yourself.
it is very easy to remove door. go outside of door ,open door,grasp each side of door frame and pick up and pull bottom of door toward you,then it should be out of track ,and lower door away from top channel and voila!
