legendarydd0g asked:

We have white plastic patio furnature/ lounge chairs that surround our pool. Each year during the winter we bring them in and store them in our basement. This year they have turned a rusty yellow. Has this happened to you before and how do you clean it off?

Try cleaning them off with CLR or another similar rust stain removal product. Failing that I have seen people paint these chairs with good results.

you can try a mix of baking soda and water, to make a paste, and a light scour brush/pad. Bleach will not help. Last resort, CLR or Lime Away.

try a bleach and hot water solution. 1 part bleach, 3 to 4 parts water. if it isn’t strong enough…add more bleach in moderation.

Use bleach to try and remove the yellow. It may be caused from the chlorine you use in your pool. Where the chairs tossed into the pool to clean them off before they were put away? Ask the kids if that’s how they cleaned the furniture last year.

If the chairs are getting old they may be deteriorating. You might washing them with a solution of soap ,water and bleach and let them dry in the sun. This may not work but its worth a try.
    GOOD LUCK !
