DH and I are a little confused about the most cost efficient way to construct steps. We want something that will go well with the concrete or patio stones so I don’t believe wood will work very well and we’re not sure exactly how to set up a frame to pour steps, set brick steps or build a frame that we can disguise with patio stones and concrete slab treads. Patio furniture is notorious for fading, cracking and just falling apart. If you spend a good deal of money on your patio furniture and it falls apart, you’ll want to take it back. Odds are your 30 day warranty has already ran out.

At any given time when I come out onto my patio in the afternoon, I have quite a few flies swarming around. There is no refuse on the patio — only a couple of chairs, hanging plants, and a BBQ. Nothing that I think would attract flies. They aren’t swarming around anything specifically, either, so I think that they might just like the semi-enclosed nature of the patio as a way to get away from the breeze???
